Yesterday, Bloomberg reported the news that Emirates and Etihad Airways could be in talks over a possible merger which would ultimately create the world’s largest airline. Citing four unnamed sources who claimed they were familiar with the matter, Bloomberg said the talks were in the preliminary stages and could still fall through.
