Delta Will Finally Give its Flight Attendants More Rest Between Flights

Delta Air Lines is Reopening Flight Attendant Recruitment On September 7 and Will Tour the U.S. With In-Person Information Sessions

Delta Air Lines is preparing to reopen its next flight attendant recruitment campaign on September 7, 2023, and to give aspiring crew members more insight into what it’s like to work as a crew member at Delta, the airline is also touring the U.S. with in-person information sessions.

Over the next couple of months, Delta’s recruitment team will make stops in Florida, Rhode Island, Texas, Minnesota and Nevada, where they’ll share information about the job of being a flight attendant at the Atlanta-based carrier and answer any burning questions that candidates have.

Delta Air Lines

Earlier this year, Delta hit the road in search of new flight attendants for the time in decades and it looks like these events proved so successful that the airline has decided to replicate the idea this Fall.

The whole point of the outreach activity is to connect with potential recruits outside of Delta’s home base in Georgia, where candidates can learn more about the role and lifestyle of a Delta flight attendant, as well as the application process.

“We’re excited to meet face to face with locals at each of our information sessions,” explained Jennifer Martin, Delta’s managing director for in-flight service customer experience, learning and hiring.

“Delta is excited to showcase flight attendant career opportunities outside of Atlanta and recruit top-tier applicants in their local communities,” Martin continued.

Candidates who attend one of these information sessions won’t be assessed on the day or have to submit an application straight away, but they’ll be provided with further information on how to apply at the end of the information session.

Delta’s recruitment team will be visiting the following areas during this particular recruitment campaign:

  • Sept. 11 at noon, 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
