TUI Airways Will Soon Start Hiring Cabin Crew in the UK and Ireland… Here Are the Details

Holiday airline TUI Airways is gearing up to restart cabin crew recruitment in the UK and Ireland, and anyone whose interested is being encouraged to sign up for an exclusive Facebook Live event on September 7, 2023, where they can learn all about the role and the recruitment process.

TUI Airways says this is a “golden opportunity” for anyone with burning questions about the role of cabin crew or what its like to work for TUI to get the answers they are searching for.

The live stream will be held by Ami, who is a key member of the TUI Airways recruitment team, along with Barry, who is a serving member of cabin crew. Expect a presentation about the role and the recruitment process and then an open opportunity to ask your question.

TUI Airways has regional cabin crew bases across the UK and Ireland, including in Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Doncaster, Dublin, Glasgow, Luton, Norwich, and London Gatwick and London Stansted.

The minimum requirements to become a member of cabin crew with TUI Airways include:

  • At least 18 years old
  • Able to reach 6’2″ without shoes (in order to reach emergency equipment)
  • Fit, healthy and able to pass an ‘aeromedical’ exam
  • A confident swimmer – able to swim 25 metres unaided
  • Willing to cover any visible tattoos and remove body piercings while on duty
  • Live within a 90-minute commute of your nominated base

The recruitment drive will likely be for temporary crew members willing to work for just six months of the year over the busy Summer 2024 holiday period. More details will be forthcoming during the live stream, so be sure to sign up if this sounds like an opportunity you are interested in.
