Where is Emirates Recruiting Cabin Crew in August 2023?

Where is Emirates holding cabin crew recruitment Open Days in August 2023, we hear you ask? The question is more where isn’t Emirates holding cabin crew Open Days? At least, that’s what it feels like as the Dubai-based mega carrier continues one of the biggest cabin crew recruitment campaigns in its history.

Most Emirates cabin crew didn’t live or work in Dubai before they were hired as cabin crew, and the vast majority of those crew members were recruited in walk-in Open Days in their home country.

Essentially, the Emirates recruitment team will come to you… or at least a hotel conference room in your home country. This way of recruiting cabin crew certainly has its advantages, although it can be frustrating if you are waiting for Emirates to visit your country.

Thankfully, Emirates’ globetrotting recruiters appear to be taking part in a whistlestop tour of the entire world this year, and there are seemingly countless recruitment events being held throughout the year.

In August, Emirates is visiting six continents (because it might be a struggle to find any candidates in Antarctica), with the majority of the recruitment events taking place in Europe.

And within Europe, the best chance of being able to attend an Open Day is in the United Kingdom where Emirates has a whopping 31 events arranged from London and Edinburgh to Milton Keynes, Derby and Preston.

There are plenty of other Open Days taking place across Europe, including in France and Germany, the Netherlands, Malta and Norway, as well as Turkey, Slovakia and Moldova.

Emirates isn’t, unfortunately, visiting the United States in August, but the team are working their way across Canada with visits to Calgary, Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver arranged this month before they head to the US in September.

More Open Days are being held in Australia, with major cities like Sydney, Melbourne and Perth on the list for August. Candidates in New Zealand get just one opportunity to attend an Open Day this month on August 8 in Auckland, but another Open Day is being held in Aotearoa in September.

In Africa and much of Asia, candidates can’t simply walk into an Open Day but must first apply online so that they can be invited to one of a number of recruitment events being held on both continents. If you are hoping to attend one of these events, apply as soon as possible to give recruiters in Dubai the chance to review your application and send you an invitation.

Invite-only events are taking place in Algeria, Morrocco, South Africa, Tunisia, Kazakhstan, Singapore and Vietnam.
