The very first low-cost long-haul airline in France which is aptly named French Bee is now recruiting new cabin crew (PNC) for its bases at Paris Orly, Reunion and Tahiti. The application process is open via the official French Bee recruitment website and shortlisted candidates will be required to attend Assessment Day’s throughout September.
French Bee started operations in 2016 and now flies from its Paris hub to six destinations: Reunion island, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Tahiti, French Polynesia, and San Francisco. The airline currently operates a combination of brand new Airbus A330 and A350 widebody aircraft and is expected to take delivery of the stretched A350-1000 by the end of the year.
Owned by the Dubreuil Group (which also owns Air Caraïbes), the carrier was originally called French Blue but had to change its name when jetBlue raised objections to another airline with the word ‘blue’ in its name entering the U.S. market.
As well as already having the right to live and work in France and having an excellent command of both French and English, interested candidates will also have to meet the following minimum requirements:
- At least 18-years old
- A minimum of six months experience in a customer service role
- Educated to at least High School level
- Fit, healthy and able to pass a cabin crew medical exam
As French Bee is a low-cost airline, the recruitment team says it is looking for passionate salespeople. For this recruitment campaign, applicants do not already have to possess a cabin crew attestation.
Assessment days will be taking place on the following dates in September:
- Paris: 2nd and 3rd September
- Reunion: 25th and 26th September
- Tahiti: 9th and 10th September
