Searching for and applying for many jobs has largely moved online – which makes finding an opportunity really easy but sometimes makes the application process a whole lot more complicated (although that’s a story for another time). While there are plenty of job search sites out there, many airlines don’t post cabin crew opportunities on these aggregate sites and instead host their own recruitment websites.
Oman Air also has its own dedicated careers and recruitment section on its website but you’d be out of luck if you wanted to apply to become cabin crew here. Although we’re not quite sure why but Oman Air doesn’t post its cabin crew opportunities on its own recruitment website and it’s not like the airline isn’t recruiting cabin crew.
It might sound counterintuitive for a company to make it quite so difficult to find a job that’s clearly available but don’t worry, we have your back. Because Oman Air does advertise its current cabin crew opportunities – they’re just hidden.
Here’s how to find the current opportunities.
Simply go to the main Oman Air website homepage and click on the magnifying glass search icon in the top left hand side of the page. Type ‘cabin crew advert’ as your search term and hit Enter.
Hey presto, you’ll be presented with a list of the current cabin crew opportunities. These pages are regularly updated, so if you carry out this search and no results come back, it simply means there aren’t any opportunities available at the moment. Here’s the result list we got back when we carried out this search recently:
As you can see, the opportunities are normally listed by country and while anyone can apply, you should be aware that Oman Air will be mainly looking for candidates who are nationals of these countries. It’s also worth mentioning that Oman Air almost exclusively only recruits female cabin crew – although there are, on rare occasions, opportunities for male candidates as well.

As you can see, Oman Air doesn’t actually handle the recruitment process itself but uses a number of third-party recruitment agencies. This is partly why it’s really important to use this method of finding career opportunities rather than relying on other sources that may point you to fake agencies or scammers.
