What Do You Think of Air Arabia’s New Look? Plus, Cabin Crew Recruitment in Sharjah and Egypt

If you haven’t already heard, the Persian Gulf low-cost airline Air Arabia unveiled a brand new livery and updated logo at an event held at the carrier’s HQ in Sharjah a few days ago.  The new look, which is more evolution rather than revolution, was created to celebrate Air Arabia’s 15th birthday and will be slowly rolled out across the airline’s fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft.

Outside of the Middle East, Air Arabia isn’t really heard of – as low-cost carrier’s go, it’s flydubai which seems to steal the limelight but it was Air Arabia which was the first budget airline in the region and its been slowly building market share since it started operations in 2003.

In fact, the airline has grown to become the largest low-cost carrier in the Middle East and North Africa, operating a fleet of more than 50 aircraft and serving around 155 routes with hubs based in the UAE, Morocco, and Egypt.  Even more impressively, Air Arabia has managed to do all this as a publicly listed company – quite a rarity for the region.

The updated logo and brand design is said to represent the creative idea of “Modern Nomads” – according to the marketing material, Air Arabia is an airline that connects with the “young, adventurous, and those who are eager to travel, discover new places and collect new experiences.”  Okay.

Along with the reimagined logo and new aircraft livery, the passenger cabin will also be sporting a new look with seats set to be upholstered in a new speckled grey fabric.
